Thorsteinn Vilhelmsson

Thorsteinn Vilhelmsson graduated from the College of Navigation in Reykjavík in 1973 and worked in fishing and in the fishing industry for over 25 years, mostly as a ship’s captain, and later as a fishery manager. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of various fishing companies for many years. Thorsteinn is one of the founders of the fishing company Samherji and has been connected with various other investments in the Icelandic fishing industry. He is the Chairman of the Board of the investment company Atorka Group and serves also on the board of several other companies.
