Thor Gislason
Thor Gislason is Geysir's Chief Technical Officer. Thor studied civil engineering at Haslev Teknikum in Denmark from 1985 to 1989, as well as receiving a Certificate in Drilling Technology at the Aberdeen Drilling School in 1996. He holds certificates in drilling from Baker Hughes International and the Geothermal Resource Council as well as a certificate in cementing from Halliburton in Houston, TX. Prior to joining Geysir, Thor was managing director at Iceland Drilling Company and supervised all of Iceland Drilling's domestic drilling operations since 1996 as well as Iceland Drilling's operations in Portugal's Azore Islands.
