Ásgeir Margeirsson
Ásgeir Margeirsson, CEO of Geysir Green Energy, is the former Deputy CEO and Director of Production and Sales at Reykjavik Energy. He holds a Ph.D. in Construction Management from Lund University in Sweden and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Iceland. His previous positions include Technical Director of Iceland Drilling Co. and Managing Director of Iceland Drilling UK. He is currently the President of the Icelandic Geothermal Association and Chairman of the Board of Enex, Enex-China and Exorka International. He is Vice-Chairman of the Board at Shaanxi Green Energy in China and Hitaveita Sudurnesja, and sits on the board of several other geothermal companies.
